The recipient of the 2024 Emma L. Cunningham Memorial Scholarship is Maritza Suna from Hackensack High School.
An excerpt from Maritza’s essay: "Being able to have the desire, dedication, and determination to accomplish something is difficult. Beginning with desire, I have the hunger to accomplish my first goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. My heart is ablaze and it is propelling me to reach my desired future. Nothing will steer me from my path because I have a driving force that is speaking to me."
