The recipient of the 2019 Emma L. Cunningham Memorial Scholarship is Rebecca Krupek from East Side High School.
Rebecca will be attending Rutgers University and majoring in Biology in the Fall. Excerpt from Rebecca’s essay: "With as little as I have, I learned how to make a difference. I am amazed by the irreducible complexity of how living beings work - I can't get enough of learning biology, especially the molecular side of it. But the smaller it gets, the more difficult it is to understand and have pieces of information come together in our imagination..."
